CADCraft is a free, open-source 2D CAD application for accurate drafting and technical documentation, built from scratch in Rust and GPU-rendered. It offers an AutoCAD-style command-line workflow (LINE, PLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, OFFSET, TRIM, FILLET, HATCH, DIMLINEAR) with layers, associative dimensions, hatches, layouts and plotting. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD and the web, supports DWG/DXF and exports PDF, SVG and PNG. Its distinctive advantage is built-in automation for AI agents via MCP, JSON control and a headless CLI, letting agents create drawings, inspect entities, render screenshots and convert files automatically.
