I built a simple platform where people can give away stuff for free in their local community.
I recently launched a small side project called Donato — a simple platform where users can list items they want to give away locally.
📦 How it works:
Users post items with an image, contact number, area, and pincode.
Others in the community can view listings, reach out directly via phone, and pick up the item.
Once given, the owner can mark it as "Given Away" , and it disappears from the feed.
It’s designed to be super lightweight and easy to use — no sign-up required, just a quick OTP login via email .

Encourage reuse and reduce waste.
Help people connect locally through generosity.
Keep things simple and accessible for all age groups.
💡 Why I made it:
So many things get thrown away or forgotten when someone might really need them. I wanted to create a frictionless way for people to pass on what they no longer need to those who will appreciate it.
