FirmTape is a dealer-positioning terminal for SPX index options. It rebuilds the dealer's options book from the 0DTE tape as it prints, second by second, instead of reading the previous day's open-interest snapshot.

Three books sit side by side: cumulative volume, open interest, and measured signed flow, so you see where they disagree instead of one number. The chart marks the zero-gamma flip, the call and put walls, the upper and lower dealer hold band, and the gamma percentile against the prior twenty sessions, with DEX and VEX exposure plus vanna, charm and 25-delta skew overlays.

Every finished session since April 2022 replays free with no account, more than a thousand of them, at one-second resolution. Only the live intraday stream is paid ($41/month), so every level can be checked against history first.

A backtesting Lab turns a rule into an honest out-of-sample verdict over the full archive, and an MCP server exposes the same session data to Claude, Cursor and other AI assistants. There are deliberately no buy or sell signals: directional edges were tested three ways across the whole archive and none survived out of sample.
