GigPenguin
Send gig sheets to your band and confirm the lineup on autopilot
GigPenguin is automation for bandleaders. Instead of texting six people to find out who can make the gig, you write one gig sheet with the date, venue, load-in, downbeat, dress code, and pay, then send it. Each band member gets their own text or email with a link where they answer with one tap. No app, no account, no password for them.
You can see for each member whether the sheet arrived, when they opened it, and whether they've seen the latest version, with their answer right beside it. Reminders go out each morning to anyone who hasn't answered until they do, and you can pause them any time.
When details change, every band member gets a notice showing exactly what changed, old to new, with your reason and a Got it button. You can see who has acknowledged the change and who is still on the old plan. If someone can't make it, the open seat shows on your home page so you can send an offer to a sub the same way. You can also schedule rehearsals: offer a few times, band members tick the ones they can make, and you lock one in.
GigPenguin is built for bandleaders who book gigs and hire the players: wedding and corporate bands, function bands, church music directors, and theatre contractors. It is not for finding gigs, invoicing, or contracts. Band members can always see what you see about them, texts only go to those who opted in and never overnight, and the first sheet takes about ten minutes. Free during the pilot, no card needed.
