GuideMeAR demo video
GuideMeAR is an AR-powered remote assistance platform that lets one person visually guide another in real time using live video and augmented reality overlays.

What it does

GuideMeAR streams live video from a mobile device and allows a remote expert to place precise AR annotations - like 3D arrows, markers, or path guidance - directly into the user’s real-world view. Instead of saying “move left… no, your other left,” the expert can simply show it.
It’s designed for accurate, low-latency communication where visual clarity matters.

Who it’s for

- Remote support teams – technical support, field service, equipment troubleshooting
- Maintenance & industrial teams – guiding on-site workers step-by-step
- Real estate & property management – remote walkthrough assistance
- Healthcare & elderly care – helping someone navigate spaces or complete tasks
- Anyone needing hands-on guidance at a distance

Why I built it

I built GuideMeAR to solve a simple but frustrating problem: verbal instructions are inefficient and often misunderstood. When distance separates people, communication becomes guesswork. I wanted to remove that friction by making remote guidance visual, intuitive, and immediate - essentially turning a phone into a shared spatial workspace.

It combines my interest in AR, real-time streaming, and practical problem-solving into a tool that makes remote collaboration feel natural.
