mxverify is a free backlink value checker. Enter any website and get its BV score: what one new followed link from that site is worth in ranking benefit, in dollars. The score is not a price anyone charges — it is the figure to set beside a seller's quote so you know what a backlink is worth before you pay for it.
The score is worked out by BV 2.8, the same model bklink uses to value every link it audits. Two things decide it: Site Strength (half the site's link authority rating, half its organic traffic) sets the ceiling, and link type decides how much of that ceiling survives — editorial links keep everything, guest and sponsored posts keep half, press releases, profiles and nofollow links keep a tenth, and links from one-owner networks keep a twentieth. Relevance to your site adjusts the result further.

Reports are public, and figures are reused for up to 30 days before being read afresh. Where bklink has audited links on a site, the link type is read from those audits; otherwise mxverify reads the site's homepage and up to ten articles.
