QApilot MCP CLI lets developers and QA engineers create and run Android tests directly from AI clients such as Claude, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex.

Describe a test flow in plain English and QApilot turns it into a structured execution plan, then runs each step on a real Android device or emulator. You do not need to write or maintain Appium scripts for every test.

The CLI runs locally with your existing Android SDK and Appium setup. You can launch apps by package ID, record flows such as logins, searches, form submissions, scrolling, and filtering, and watch the device screen live in your browser as each step runs.

Once a flow works, you can save the successful path to QApilot as a reusable test case. Saved tests can be replayed individually, in batches, or from an Excel sheet.

Each run can generate detailed execution reports with step results, screenshots, errors, and timing data, along with structured output files such as `output.json`, `report.yaml`, and a Gherkin `scenario.feature` file for successful runs.

The main value is simple: QApilot brings mobile test creation, execution, replay, and debugging into the same editor and AI workflow developers already use, while keeping the app and execution environment local.

Setup requires Node.js 18+, Java JDK 11+, the Android SDK, a connected device or emulator, and Appium 2.19.0 with the UIAutomator2 driver.
